THOUGHT/QUOTE OF THE WEEK:
Do[I21] something. If it works, do more of it.
If it doesn’t, do something else.
                        ~ Franklin D. Roosevelt

The Fourth Object of Kiwanis: To develop, by precept and example, a more intelligent, aggressive, and serviceable citizenship.

Kiwanis Education #53:    Any member is entitled to receive a perfect attendance tab for each period of 12 consecutive months during which the member achieved a perfect attendance record. The 12-month period does not need to coincide with the calendar year or Kiwanis administrative year. Neither Kiwanis International nor the districts maintain individual attendance records; this is a responsibility of the local club.

THIS WEEK:

Your chief copy person for the bulletin is fairly busy this Friday[N35] but not wanting you to miss out on your Bingo numbers and your reminder that we are here and we do care about you, I am sending an abbreviated bulletin today.

We had an [I28]excellent evening meeting this week – Margaret went all out with Mardi Gras – King Cake, Punch (and enlisted the help of Leslie Thibodeaux (the decorations Queen) to make the whole room look so very festive.   We even did a little Mardi Gras Dance around our chairs.  Happy[N31] Mardi Gras to everyone!

Nicole Allen was a guest at our meeting.  She has a new venture[G56] in the works – Muddy Waters – which promises to be AWESOME.  Look for her opening in late March or early April.

Another guest at our meeting was Little ARFin’ Annie – with her mom, Marti.  It was so great to have Marti back at a meeting (Gloria Polite, too) and really nice to meet Annie.

One of our former Kiwanians, Ellen Meyers, dropped us a line the other day.  Here is her line…

Comments from Ellen Meyers:
I have been enjoying reading your witty bulletin during the week. It's nice[N32] to see the same names there as were when I was a member. It makes me remember what good times we had. I have joined other clubs here in the Pacific Northwest but have not found a group that is as friendly and as much fun. Speaking of the Northwest, I see the ad to visit Seattle at the top of the page. Seattle is a great city with lots to see and do. When you visit, be sure to let me know so we can meet you in the city or you can come out here to Sunny Sequim.

Look for your bingo[B1] numbers and keep playing.  By the way, if you got a bingo card that has I 2 on it, call me for another card.
