THIS
WEEK:
Your chief copy person for
the bulletin is fairly busy this Friday[N35] but not wanting you to miss
out on your Bingo numbers and your reminder that we are here and we do
care about you, I am sending an abbreviated bulletin today.
We had an [I28]excellent
evening meeting this week Margaret went all out with Mardi Gras King
Cake, Punch (and enlisted the help of Leslie Thibodeaux (the decorations
Queen) to make the whole room look so very festive. We even did a little
Mardi Gras Dance around our chairs. Happy[N31] Mardi Gras to everyone!
Nicole Allen was a guest at
our meeting. She has a new venture[G56] in the works Muddy Waters
which promises to be AWESOME. Look for her opening in late March or early
April.
Another guest at our
meeting was Little ARFin Annie with her mom, Marti. It was so great to
have Marti back at a meeting (Gloria Polite, too) and really nice to meet
Annie.
One of our former Kiwanians,
Ellen Meyers, dropped us a line the other day. Here is her line
Comments from Ellen Meyers:
I have been enjoying reading your witty bulletin during the week. It's
nice[N32] to see the same names there as were when I was a member. It
makes me remember what good times we had. I have joined other clubs here
in the Pacific Northwest but have not found a group that is as friendly
and as much fun. Speaking of the Northwest, I see the ad to visit Seattle
at the top of the page. Seattle is a great city with lots to see and do.
When you visit, be sure to let me know so we can meet you in the city or
you can come out here to Sunny Sequim.
Look for your bingo[B1]
numbers and keep playing. By the way, if you got a bingo card that has I
2 on it, call me for another card. |
