THOUGHT/QUOTE OF THE WEEK:

Don’t compare your life to others.
You have no idea what their journey is all about.

The First Object of Kiwanis:  To give primacy to the human and spiritual, rather than to the material values of life.

Kiwanis Education #66:   Club bylaws set a limit of 90 minutes for a club meeting, from the time when the meeting is called to order until it is adjourned. Clubs are required to conduct meetings at least twice per month. To receive attendance credit, a member must be present for at least 60 percent of a meeting.

THIS WEEK:

Bon Voyage to our Lt. Gov. Christine Berard, Kiwanian Dan Berard, Kiwanian Carol Lagarde and her lovely husband, Hank!!!  We thank you and appreciate that you’re taking time out of your busy schedules (except Dan) to represent us at the Kiwanis International Convention.  I know the tediousness of travel, eating unusual foods, and so much time spent away from home will be difficult, but again, we thank you!  Hope you guys have a great trip, awesome convention, and I would like chocolate and a watch from Geneva!

Our meeting this week was devoted to finalizing plans for Dr. Fournet Day which will be held on July 22 at the St. Martin Opera House.  If you are able, please make plans to attend.

My co-editors join me in wishing all of you a safe and happy 4th of July!
