THIS WEEK:

They always say to ask a busy person to do something because it will get done.  That may be true most of the time, but some of the time, the busy person is maxed out and it doesn’t get done.  Sorry about no bulletin last week.  This busy person was maxed out!

At the meeting, Pepper Co-Chair Steve had some information to share with us:

Art work for the tee shirts and poster is still being considered so if you have ideas or know someone who has ideas, Steve is extending the deadline from May 1 to ?

He and Christine are considering having a “Pepper Jam” session with musicians coming together to play at the festival. And having a signature band to close out the festival.

Every Child A Swimmer is right around the corner.  The dates are May 20, 21, 24, 25, and 26.  If you can help, please contact Christine at 394-5264.

Next week our meeting is an evening meeting beginning at 6:00 p.m.  These evening meetings are dedicated to Pepper Festival committee business so it’s a great time for you to catch up and see what’s happening in your club.

Larry is asking for volunteers to get speakers for June, July and August.  If you don’t want to volunteer for a whole month, he’ll be happy if you volunteer for one meeting.  Next week, Larry will have a list so that you can sign up for one or more meetings.   Dennis LeBlanc is speaker getter for May.

Margaret Richard, V P Extraordinaire, is heading the nominating committee.  So if and when Margaret calls, please hear her out before you hang up on her.  JUST KIDDING – DON’T HANG UP!!!!!
